We’re stoked to be in the centre of Oxford serving up stunning coffees in a global city. It’s the perfect place for us! Oxford is home to England’s first ever coffee house, and in true Oxford pioneering fashion, something NEW is in town.
We want this place to be yours.
This space belongs to Oxford and the 7 million visitors a year. This is a place for you to experience coffee in new and exciting ways. We’ve designed it to be a peaceful space in the busy town centre, a place to get away from the rush and stop for a peaceful brew.
We’ve been roasting incredible beans for almost 6 years now,
and we’ve invested in the world’s best brewing equipment to ensure we get consistently great coffee that bangs every time.
And we’ve done all of this to further our impact.
We exist to provide training and job opportunities for ex-offenders – it’s the beating heart of NewGround. This new space will provide more opportunities and resources for us to reach some of the most overlooked people in our society.
But we’re not just impacting the lives of ex-offenders.
We’ve been a B-Corp since 2022 and we’re certified Carbon Neutral. Our coffee waste is turned into biofuel, our cups are recyclable, we up-cycle materials in the kit-out of OX1, and we’ve got aspirational goals to do more.
Oh, and did we mention we have wine?
We’re open late a few days a week pouring some incredible low-intervention wines, and we have a bottle shop in our basement – come check it out to quench your natural wine thirst.
